The Korea Football Association announced that the 55th National Power Reinforcement Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Power Reinforcement Committee) was formed and held its first meeting on the 7th.

The most urgent task of the new power reinforcement committee is to appoint a coach for the men's under-23 national team who will compete in the 2026 U-23 Asian Cup to be held in Saudi Arabia in January next year and the Aichi and Nagoya Asian Games to be held in Japan in September next year. The power reinforcement committee held its first meeting at 4 p.m. at the Korea Football Center.
At the first meeting, the members listened to briefings on the committee's current issues, including the appointment of a supervisor, the scope of the power reinforcement committee's work, and the Korea Football Technology Philosophy (MIK), listened to Chairman Hyun Young-min's operation plan, and then shared opinions for the director candidate list process.
